How did you get into learning Salsa and Bachata in Singapore?
Back in 2018, I was introduced to Salsa and Bachata dance by my sister who was social dancing at Dalsa clubs like Senor Taco, I fell in love with Salsa dance back then. I decided to take up some classes for a while, but later took a break.
Later, I was hanging out with some friends who are dancing Salsa, and it reminded me how fun it was, so I decided to take it up again and am so glad to have came across Caliente Dance Studio. It has been a joy learning here and I would love to dance salsa for life!
What is your favorite dance class and why?
So far I've only taken Salsa dance classes. Salsa partner dance classes are great and fun! The teachers are friendly and encouraging, the lessons are well-structured, and I especially enjoy the instructors' inspiring dance demos at the end of each class.
What do you enjoy the most about dancing Salsa and Bachata?
I've always loved dancing and watching people dance. I am usually the one who will be moving to random music playing. The best feeling from dancing is when there is unplanned yet synchronized grooving and moving to fun and beautiful music with others.
What reasons will you give to someone to start learning how to dance Salsa and Bachata?
It relaxes, destresses, brings joy and laughter when learning with others and brings you out of your comfort zone in a good way. It would also be good to have some proper dance moves up your sleeves when the situation calls for it!
