This week we asked our New Salsa and Bachata Instructor to answer few questions.
Meet Rosanna Shariq!
How did you get into Salsa and Bachata Dance?
Entirely by chance actually. All the movies made partner dances super cool, and I always wanted to try. I finally decided to do it, signed up for the first partner class that my siblings were also free for at the nearby community club and tada. It was love at first steps and there was no turning back.
What’s your favourite Dance so far and why?
I love both of them. They are both different and has their own specialties. I cannot choose, I need both.
What do you enjoy the most from Dancing?
The music, the moves and sharing the joy.
What reasons would you give to someone to start learning Dancing?
Why not try? You won’t know if you don’t try.
Dancing is a fun way to move and workout (especially since I don’t like it exercising)
It helps keep you active (because I know otherwise I won’t move 😂)
It Helps with coordination and to be more free in expressing yourself.
You also get to meet many different type of people from all sorts of background.
Why did you start teaching Salsa and Bachata Dance?
Because I love it and I want to share it with everyone.
I enjoy and want to be part of a person’s progress in their dancing.
