How did you get into learning Salsa and Bachata dance in Singapore?
When I was in University, I found that there were various external dance communities. This includes Caliente Dance Studio. However, I did not make attempts to join because I was already in the school dance crew. Later in mid 2021, I decided to start learning Salsa and Bachata and decided to sign up with Caliente Dance Studio.
What is your favourite dance class and why?
At first it was Bachata because I find the pace slower and lighter. Now I prefer Salsa, because the songs are in a way more fun and upbeat than Bachata.
What do you enjoy the most about dancing Salsa and Bachata?
Latin music! The Salsa and Bachata songs are always either fun or relaxing !!!
What reasons will you give to someone to start learning how to dance Salsa and Bachata?
You can always make new friends whether you are in solo or partner dance classes in Caliente Dance Studio. It also helps to relieve stress, because dancing is basically a modified way of human walking and expression LOL
For me, Latin music is also a strong reason why I like Salsa and Bachata. Salsa music is fun, and Bachata music is more relaxing and enjoyable.
